Here are useful informations for students coming from outside France and planning to stay at university for a long period. One can also visit the english version of the Paris-sud university WEB PAGE or the CampusFrance WEB PAGE.
The cost of life around Paris requires around 1000 Euros per month (accommodation: 400€-500€ + living expenses: 300€). As a student in France, one needs to pay a medical examination (5,10 € / year), tuition fees (243 € / year) including library access and CVEC tax (91 € / year).

Located in the south of Paris, Paris-sud university offers a high-quality cultural and sports environment within large, protected green spaces outside the city of Orsay. One can access the Orsay Campus by fast train (RER B from downtown Paris, stop at "Orsay-Ville") in about 35 minutes, and the university is very closed to Orly International Airport. The university halls of residence
The university halls of residence are managed by CROUS (the Regional Student Welfare Office). Rooms are available for 9, 10 or 12 months and are allocated based on student’s social circumstances. Due to the fact that the number of applications is higher than the actual number of rooms available, it may be difficult to get a room in one of the university’s halls of residence.
